Soup & Bread Luncheon Presented by Mat-Su Title

We are happy to announce that our friends at Mat-Su Title will, once again, host the annual Soup and Bread Luncheon fundraiser for The Children’s Place. It will be held on Friday, Friday, November 17, 2023, from 11-2 pm at Mat-Su Title. It has been two long years since we were able to have this event and we cannot wait to see you!

North Star Bakery, as in past years, has generously donated warm and fresh-baked bread. Meta & Rose has kindly donated a variety of delicious soups to enjoy while you peruse items in our silent auction. Our fun and friendly competitive silent auction will have beautiful handmade quilts, and cookie jars filled to the top with homemade delicious treats. We do not sell tickets to this event but ask instead that you make a heartfelt donation for your lunch and generously participate in the silent auction to benefit The Children’s Place.

We need your help to make this fundraiser successful. There are several ways you can participate; You can attend the event with your family, friends, and co-workers and make a generous donation for a fabulous lunch and participate in the silent auction. Or you could donate a quilt, cookie jar, or cookies that will be sold in the auction. There is a form attached if you would like to donate to the auction. Please fill it out and return it to us no later than October 15, 2023, to allow for adequate planning prior to the event. The Children’s Place is a non-profit, nationally accredited child advocacy center. With the support of our community, we have helped children who have been abused since 1999. Our Family Advocates have provided support to the children and their protective caregivers throughout the investigative process and into the healing process. We could not do this without our community’s support, and we want you to know how grateful we are that you support our mission.
